Turns out the AO herself approved my leave, so I went for HLS in the morning for nothing. It's just as well that I didn't choose to run the longest route today! I found out during the lunch hour, so I zipped right home, where I've been happily downloading Sugar Ray songs for the past few hours. Decided to get the songs because I read The New Paper article about Mark McGrath, since I'm currently into the whole pop music thing again and Sugar Ray was one of the more popular bands when I was in my teens. I quite like the songs, at least those that were radio hits. Haven't really listened to the rest. I think it's really hard for the music industry to compete with P2P networks, and it's partly their fault for giving us crappy music for so long. Then again, if you're a collector like me, you'd buy the albums, then go online to download non-LP tracks. I have a ton of remixes that I rarely listen to, although sometimes the remix actually sounds better than the original. Am also downloading Andrea Corr's debut album, which I didn't realise had been released until I read the newspapers a few days ago. It sounds very different from what The Corrs have been producing, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I'm so glad that I get this long break till next Monday...
