Met Eugene for lunch at O'Brien's to pass him the ticket for Judith's production on Sunday afternoon. Grabbed a bunch of new postcards! Lesson passed quite quickly, because I was running up a huge bill by having another SMS conversation with Eugene. Had to kill a couple of hours before cell, so I headed over to the National Library, which I realised is actually within sight of the campus. Returned The Shadow Of The Wind because I just had to borrow The Republic Of Trees and The Amnesiac by Sam Taylor. I'll return the Racine on Monday and borrow The Shadow Of The Wind again then. The Republic Of Trees sounds like Lord Of The Flies for the new millennium. Retraced my steps to City Hall MRT and arrived in church about half an hour early. My sharing today went okay, considering I took such a short time to prepare it! Am kind of glad that I wasn't at the wake tonight, even if I think my parents are upset with me. I just couldn't take another night of sitting around and making small talk. I don't think they'd understand...
