Night phase of setting up drill for the operators was cancelled due to inclement weather. Didn't spot anyone who I'd really want to be my understudy, but then again, I can honestly say that I don't care anymore. I cared at some point in the past, but I already have one foot planted in the future and I'm not looking back to this point of my life. Romanticising the past, check. Idealising the future, check. The present isn't quite the gift that it used to be. Not going to run tomorrow because I have to take a lesson, but I don't really mind. Don't seem to be doing the things that I want to do, and it's somewhat beyond my control, which kind of sucks. Have decided to take two more days of leave, so I'll probably apply by the end of this week, once I firm up plans for what to do on those two additional days of freedom.
