Monkey Day/Cow Appreciation Day/Junk Food Day/Twin-O-Rama (Wisconsin)

Have rediscovered my love for the music of Sophie Ellis-Bextor, so I've been downloading what I can find of her discography. Have half of Shoot From The Hip and most of Trip The Light Fantastic, plus some random non-album songs. Borrowed Alan Ayckbourn's Intimate Exchanges, which is a fascinating work, structured around four scenes but with 16 possible outcomes. A veritable theatrical multiverse! Had dinner with Claudia and Eugene at the Esplanade in Ichiban Boshi, where we waited a really long time to get seated. It was worth it though, because I had salmon sashimi, in my set meal and as a side dish. The side dish was a bit weird, because they had mayonnaise drizzled over the sashimi and we all kind of liked the mayonnaise more than the sashimi. The pairing with the salmon was off, would have worked better with something like a potato salad. Dessert at The Chocolate Bar, so I've finally made my second trip to that place, three years after I first stepped into it. Had a very delicious drink and entertaining conversation, mostly courtesy of Claudia. We must do this again sometime! Have persuaded my mum to buy me a new pair of shoes not costing more than $100, so now I just need to find something that I really, really like. Haha...
