Still can't complete the Dilos Latemn quest, which is kind of annoying. Guess I'll just have to level up some more before going back again. I'm still too lazy to actually work out some sort of strategy when I'm playing. Haha! Finished Distress, and what do you know, the TOE isn't the end of the world after all. Not quite a deux ex machina, but the effect in terms of the plot was pretty much the same. Definitely my least favourite Egan novel. Wasn't too keen on Teranesia either, but that was because the ending wasn't conclusive enough. Felt like a sequel could have been written, or at least a few more chapters to achieve closure. Am reading Permutation City now, which is not bad. Probably won't get far with it this week because Wednesday to Friday are all fully packed. Not relishing getting back into the swing of things in camp, but since this is the next to last time, I'll just bear with it. Looking forward to the party on Saturday...
