Have miraculously found a reference that gives at least a semblance of structure to my essay, so it won't suck as badly as I thought it would. In fact, I've managed to cross 800 words because I basically wrote the conclusion before writing anything related to the two theories I haven't touched. This has made me so pleased with myself that I will attend main service tomorrow after YE, instead of going home to write my essay. I have full confidence that I'll finish the whole darn thing by Sunday night, and this time, I'm just going to e-mail it immediately. No more dithering and re-reading the whole essay. Time isn't a luxury I can't afford at the moment! I feel like I'm waiting for something to happen, but I just don't know what yet. Next batch of trainees is already in camp, and they'll (hopefully) be the last batch I have to conduct lessons for. Screw the manpower people who didn't send us any understudies from the previous batch, unlike what happened last year when eight of us were posted back to replace the outgoing CSOs. Well, the eight of us are going to be gone soon, and boy, what an upheaval that will be, what with our understudies having even less time to learn the ropes than we did. Not that I really care anymore...
