Go Fishing Day/Splurge Day
2007-06-18 @ 11:19 p.m.

Did a whole bunch of personality tests today, which was probably the most fun lesson I'm ever going to attend throughout my entire course. Overall, I think I'm a remarkably well-adjusted individual, although I have a tendency to define myself in terms of my achievements, which is something I was already of aware of anyway. I like being good at things, if not the best, but I'm level-headed enough to deal with not being the best at everything I turn my hand to. The first test we did was the MBTI, and I scored as ISFP, which is only slightly different from the INFP I scored as back in secondary school. It's a bit of a coin toss really, because I don't have very strong preferences for either S or N. I suppose I used to, but it doesn't seem to be the case now. One of the differences is that S suggests a preference for living in the present, whereas N suggests more of future possibilities. The fact that I sort of feel my life is in limbo at present, with little to live for now and a glittering future that's still too remote, may have something to do with the flipflop between sensing and intuitive. Going to write my essays on Friday, especially the one for AP102, so it's a good thing that the outing I intiated has been shifted to tomorrow evening instead.
