Applesauce Cake Day/D-Day Anniversary/Tailors Day

Today was a better day. Problem still isn't resolved, but I've resolved not to care anymore. I didn't create the problem, and I refuse to accept any of the blame when the time comes. So if the matter's cleared up, well and good. Otherwise, I don't give a damn. Was late for today's lesson, so I figured I might as well cheer myself up with a mango frappucino from Starbucks. Can you believe that "mango" isn't in the default Nokia dictionary? That's a random factoid for you. Have decided that every night I will pray that tomorrow will be a better day, and that if it isn't, that I will have the grace to endure it. If the second half of 2007 is going to be anything like the first half, I'm going to need that prayer and then some! You know, the only place in which I've never felt truly happy before is camp. Happiness in there is so dependent on other people's whim and fancy that it's degraded to the point where it's a parody of the real thing. Just another aspect of life in this country that nudges me toward the conclusion that it's not a healthy place to live and grow up in.
