Finished reading a literary homage to Borges yesternight, Borges And The Eternal Orang-Utans by Luis Fernando Verissimo. Since I'm a bit of a fan of Borges myself, I quite enjoyed the book, although I'd have liked it to have been longer. Glad I stumbled across this in the library. Am kind of beat after chasing people around the compound. War games. I'm constitutionally unsuited for them. Retreat's been okay, although it's too short to feel anything for, if you know what I mean. Boggle and Taboo help to pass whatever free time there is. What I really need is sleep, but I'm not getting any, at least not in the immediate future. Going to snooze in service tomorrow...
