Poetry Day/World No Tobacco Day/Rose Festival (Oregon)/Vesak Day (Singapore)
2007-05-31 @ 10:50 p.m.

Headed down to Trumpet Praise after the retreat ended to see what I could find. No Rush Of Fools, but I did find Chris Tomlin's The Early Years, which is really just The Noise We Make and Not To Us in a cardboard slipcase. I'm not complaining though, as it was more than $10 cheaper compared to buying the two CDs separately, which believe it or not, Trumpet Praise also has. The sheer variety there is amazing! I decided to become a member, since it's just $20 for lifetime membership and I figure I'll be getting a lot of Christian music from there in the future, especially if I decide to start buying the recordings from the Passion series. Also bought a hymn album by Avalon, which makes hymns sound funky. This all means that I'm feeling a bit poor at the moment, and will really need to control myself tomorrow at Kinokuniya. Now I really, really regret buying the Govinda CD last Sunday! Self-control, self-control, self-control...
