Teacher Day/Senior Citizens Day/World Red Cross Day/Student Nurses Day/V-E Day/Victory Day (France)

This endurance exercise is just a freaking waste of time. The best improvement that can be made to it is to scrap it altogether. Seriously, this past month or so has seemed like a test to see how much our section can do without imploding under the weight of commitments. All other people know is to ask and demand for things to be done, expecting to get their way and forgetting that we're only human. Watching the trainees trudge in, I feel kind of sorry for them. Don't you think all this imposing of authority over people warps the personality of wielder and wielded over? It's a self-reinforcing process, which I decline to elaborate because my mind's fuzzy and I'm too lazy to make a coherent point. Anyway, I have discovered in myself a surprising capacity for surviving deprivation of creature comforts. At the very least, I complain less than my peers...
