Just came back from The Phantom Of The Opera. After seeing the musical, it's quite amazing to realise how closely the 2004 film version kept to the musical. Sure, there were tweaks here and there for dramatic effect, but plot-wise, very little difference. Anyway, I enjoyed myself! Sometimes I couldn't really make out what the lyrics were, but having watched the movie, I could pretty much figure it out without needing the libretto. The next better thing would be watching something at Broadway or West End. Chalk that up as one overseas goal to accomplish in the future. Have been looking for more electro-flavoured pop online, and I found Nelson Clemente and Petros. The latter's a 19-year-old Harvard English major of Greek descent, whose album's already on iTunes. His singing's average though. Life really, really isn't fair, is it? Haha...
