Tamil New Year/Malayalam New Year/Baisakhi/Pecan Day/World Catfish Festival (Mississippi)/John Hanson Day (Maryland)
2007-04-14 @ 11:38 p.m.

Met Kay Hwee for lunch in VivoCity. Ended up trying some place called Mussel Guys, which had a nice view of Sentosa, marred somewhat by a huge sign outside informing people that smoking was prohibited. Had Norwegian salmon, one of my favourite fishes. Then at the MRT, we got waylaid by a couple of those Prudential people again. They got our numbers, so it's a good thing Kay Hwee had the presence of mind to get at least one of theirs, so now I can label it in my contact list as IGNORE. Honestly, those people don't give up. In consequence, we were late meeting Dan and Eugene at Settler's Café. Fun time, especially playing Munchkin! It was good to see Mel again and just hang out. Wish I could have hung out with them longer, but I was already late for cell by the time I left Holland Village. (I seem to be late a lot these days! Must be Sarah's bad influence...) Jeremy came to our cell today, which came as a surprise, but in a good way. Teochew porridge for supper again and a sleep ride home on the MRT...
