Look Up At The Sky Day/Big Wind Day/Maple Festival (Ohio)/Wine Festival (North Carolina)
2007-04-12 @ 8:14 p.m.

Ripped a few more CDs today, including some Britney ones. There's something about the music that you grew up to that feels right, even if it renders your musical taste open to question. Then again, I listen to so many different kinds of music that it's hard to pigeonhole my taste anyway. So things worked out well, and I got to spend the afternoon at home. Was really proud of myself for not squandering my money on a bunch of CDs that I didn't mind owning, but would rather pass over in favour of buying some new threads. So this might sound simply like substituting clothes for CDs, but it's still a start! Urban did a feature today on menswear, and hey, the River Island outfit looked pretty good, contrary to my impression when I walked past the store at VivoCity the other day. Apparently, Zara is still considered affordable, which just goes to show how cheaply I dress. Nonetheless, I believe it's not what you wear but how you wear it that gets you that second look. (That's not to say I wouldn't trade in half of my wardrobe right now if I were given the chance!) I hope guard duty tomorrow goes smoothly...
