Siblings Day/Golfers Day/Salvation Army Founder's Day

New musical discoveries today - Dangerous Muse and Switch 22. Electro sound, which I really like. Why don't we hear stuff like this on the radio anymore? I hope they make it big, especially Switch 22, although it's hard to imagine either of them gaining mainstream popularity in an industry that's hellbent on churning out manufactured Idol after Idol. Edited two lesson plans today, including one of the longest I have to do, which filled me with a great sense of accomplishment and satisfaction. This week may turn out to be bearable after all, especially now that I've found some new music. I must confess that I was so desperate to hear stuff that actually sounded like pop that I even thought of downloading Britney's In The Zone. Not to say that I won't at some point, but just that I don't have to stoop so low. Yet. (Then again, I always thought Toxic was a nice song...)
