The COC parade was kind of anticlimactic. Muggy weather and insane rush-hour crowds on the train didn't really help my mood. At least I had new songs on my iPod! I downloaded both of JoJo's albums last night. She's talented, but her songs aren't very consistent, especially on the self-titled debut album. Her sophomore release, The High Road, is better. It's been a while since I heard someone on MTV who can actually sing. I don't care if the vocals have been digitally manipulated, because you can't alter something to sound so naturally good if it wasn't already more than decent to begin with. Randomly, I think Way Back Into Love from Music And Lyrics is such a cute song. Not too keen on the singers' voices, but the lyrics are sweet. Overcame my lethargy to settle a bunch of stuff for tomorrow and Sunday, but there's still things left undone. Maybe tomorrow? Am probably skipping the vocal session because of the different timing tomorrow. Looking forward to cell...
