Reviewing lesson plans is a real pain because compared to whoever did the originals, I'm a Microsoft Word whiz. Granted, the auto-numbering was clever, but since it tends to stop at 15, it really makes you wonder what the hell whoever formatted the document was doing? Plus there are bizarre tabs all over the place! It's very annoying when I'm trying to indent systematically and everything goes haywire because of a wayward tab. I tried something new today. Instead of copying text into what is essentially a template I typed from scratch, I tried to format the original document. Doesn't seem to save significant amounts of time, but it's less tedious than copying and pasting stuff repeatedly. My progress is unenviable. In other news, bantering with my CSM is quite surreal. Seem to have crept into his good books after I took up the job of reviewing lesson plans for my team IC, largely because the two of them are "like brothers", to quote one of the regulars in my office. Not that I'm complaining! The way I see it, surviving NS largely boils down to playing games of power. It's all politics really... This week: Bubble Week |
