Money Day/Telephone Day/Eagle Festival (Maryland)/Harriet Tubman Day/Maple Festival (Connecticut)/Azalea Festival (Georgia)
2007-03-10 @ 10:54 p.m.

Won a $10 Takashimaya voucher today because my team came in first, so at least I didn't waste my time by coming down. After a very unhealthy KFC lunch, I spent a few hours preparing for tomorrow's teaching on kindness. I actually wrote out in full what I'm going to say, which feels a bit silly because it'll practically be reading from a script. Am keeping it short though, as I have to rush down to the sanctuary to sing for Kenneth. That is not a prospect that I relish, but my hands are pretty much tied on this issue. Anyway, I've finally bought my Crumpler bag! Got it before cell from Raffles City. The Western Lawn, in olive/oatmeal/white. I love the colour combination, and it was pretty cheap, only $95. That's nothing compared to some of the other bags, which cost up to twice as much. This one's pretty adequate at this point, and I'm seriously thinking of buying another one or two before I go overseas. In different colours, of course. Shirley thinks I'm mad, but I think it's perfectly acceptable. After all, you don't wear the same set of clothes to school everyday, so I don't see why I have to carry the same bag around everyday for three years of university life!
