Cereal Day/Be Heard Day
2007-03-07 @ 4:08 p.m.

Yeah! No parades for me. Turns out the specialist coordinating for our side already amended the name to my colleague's yesterday. So there was no need for me to concern myself at all! Hindsight is always 20/20. Anyway, I elected not to do any work in the office today. The desire to celebrate my freedom from obligation dovetailed nicely with the desire to bum all day. I'll pay for it tomorrow though, but I'll deal with that day when it comes. I've decided that I'm definitely going to do the diploma, if only because my friends are right and I shouldn't let NS consume two years of my existence. So Ka Tsai, I'm doing this, with or without you. Haha! I just need to make sure my dad'll pay and then I'll apply. I can't wait! Just imagine, going back to school again, at long last. Think I'll do the one-year programme instead of the nine-month one, although that presents some problems with the whole American holiday thing after I ORD. Will have to work something out, I suppose? Not to mention that somehow I'm going to have to find a part-time job to finance my lavish spending, both here and overseas.
