Banana Bread Day/Tennis Day/Iwo Jima Day/Duck Days (California)/Blues Blast (Arizona)/Bluegrass Festival (Arizona)
2007-02-23 @ 11:57 p.m.

So after hanging out with Ben Woon, Ka Tsai and Kay Hwee, today was sedentary in comparison. Played mahjong at Kay Hwee's place, Eugene taking Ben Woon's place. That poor guy always seems so busy these days! Got a lift from Ka Tsai this morning, and that guy's driving isn't too bad. Took only one wrong turn, nearly banged into a taxi when merging lanes, and had some minor problems parking at Kay Hwee's place. Haha! Who am I to comment though? He's the one with the civilian license, not me. In any case, thanks for the ride! We played mahjong for more than 12 hours, stopping only for lunch and dinner. Ka Tsai drove us to Parkway Parade for lunch at The CaffeBar, which is a really nice place. It's a pity Parkway Parade's so hard to get to from my place, or I'd definitely eat there more often. Anyway, Ka Tsai would have won obscene heaps of money if we'd been playing for it! So we finally left after completing three full games, each one of which took longer than the last. Got a lift again, this time to Choa Chu Kang MRT, but we got lost in Bukit Panjang. The irony of being so near my camp and having no idea how to find our way to the MRT station. Haha...
