Chinese New Year/Thumb Appreciation Day/Pluto Day
2007-02-18 @ 9:38 p.m.

Finally returned my mum all the money I've been owing her. Still have enough left from this year's collection to get a Crumpler bag though, which I'll probably buy next month. My relatives aren't a very generous lot, which is pretty sad for me. Guess I really need to rely on myself in future if I ever want to enjoy my ideal lifestyle. The love of money is the root of all evil, but I don't love money, just what the comforts it can buy. Haha! Slippery slope? Service today was cool! Instead of a sermon, we got a short story by Leo Tolstoy, which was probably more effective in delivering the message than any sermon could have been. What dwells in men: love. What is not given men to know: what he needs. What men live by: love. Three of God's truths encapsulated in a Russian tale. Brilliance.
