Maha Shivaratri/Arbor Day (Georgia)/Garlic Fest (Florida)/Second Honeymoon Weekend
2007-02-16 @ 11:46 p.m.

Friend didn't call because he doesn't have my number. Cue rolling of eyes. It's okay though, as my mum paid for my taxi fare. I still don't understand why it had to be at East Coast Park though, seeing as how everyone in attendance was from our camp. If it was for space considerations, then perhaps they should have planned something other than a run. Or at least picked a park in a more accessible location. Getting to East Coast Park is really very difficult during weekdays, as the only bus that travels there isn't in service then. It's possible to get there, but you'll have to walk a fair bit. So I showed up, did what I was supposed to do, and then ended up cycling for an hour or so, getting sunburnt in the process. So much for evening out my tan!

Was supposed to go to Borders with Eugene in the late afternoon, but I was really tired, so I cancelled. Then Kay Hwee called while I was cutting my hair, when I obviously couldn't answer, so I sent an SMS and he replied asking if I wanted to shoot pool with him and Ka Tsai. Figured that was more worth getting out of the house for than just buying a book, so I headed down. In any case, it took me a while to find them at 101 Plaza, in the pouring rain no less, which meant I was thoroughly soaked by the time I stepped into the pool parlour. Zhong Xing came by just before Ka Tsai left, and the three of us stayed for an hour or so longer before grabbing a bite at some Japanese place that was really deserted. I'm exhausted, and I'm amazed I managed to stay awake until now...
