Super Sunday/Homemade Soup Day/Halfway Point Of Winter/Diabetes Sunday/Thank A Mailperson Day/Independence Day (Sri Lanka)
2007-02-04 @ 8:12 p.m.

Had the computer all to myself for a few hours today, so I reviewed some basic French lessons online. It's all coming back to me now! Anyway, I don't think I'll end up doing a diploma or anything. Just getting information is such a hassle. The information I really care about, like examination schedules, isn't available at the website, so that means having to send e-mails. Plus it seems like a year is the minimum course duration, whereas that's the maximum length of time I'm prepared to commit to studying, and then only as a part-time student. So much for getting used to studying again! That said, there might be something to be said for auto-didactism. The question now is what field of knowledge to pursue. Ought I to consider knowledge as a means to an end, or an end in itself?
