Whisper "I Love You" Day/Popcorn Day/Brew A Potion Day/Tin Can Day/Lettuce Days (Arizona)/Boat Show (Virginia)/Winter Festival (California)/Eagle Watch Weekend (Kentucky)/Winterfest (Montana)

Did nothing the whole day. Basically just stoned in front of the computer or flicked through the cable channels on TV. It's so much easier to just bum, rather than do something productive or useful. Like exercise. I think my face is getting chubby again! I could have sworn my jaw was more defined a couple of months ago. The best thing would be to start running regularly, like they made us do during BMT. After all, there is a park right beside my estate. It's lack of discipline really. If only I could find a friend who lives nearby to run with me. Pretty much everyone's disqualified because they live too far away or they're stay-in personnel. Getting a treadmill would be nice, but my mum says it'll be too noisy and the neighbours might complain. What's a guy to do in a situation like this? Downloaded and recorded a bunch of tracks by Jim Verraros, formerly of American Idol fame. (One wonders if he's remembered more for being the first Idol contestant to publicly out himself.) Sounds way better than most of the crap that gets played on MTV and the radio. Also recorded a bunch of electro-flavoured songs by Simon Curtis, which wouldn't have been out-of-place on Darren Hayes's sophomore effort. He's being billed as the resurrection of pop, which might be a bit of an exaggeration, but songs like Bones and Left Right Left suggest that while his album, Alter Boy, may not sell well in the current musical climate, it's a well-crafted pop gem.
