Today's sermon was kind of long, but I guess it was intended to allay any possible concerns the congregation might have. Am at Gerald's house now with the YE people, waiting for the countdown. Not doing much really, just playing with his dogs, since the mahjong table's occupied. It's strange to think that yet another year has passed. I'd go so far as to say that 2006 wasn't a bad year for me. It certainly could have been worse! While I didn't get everything that I wanted, I got a lot that I didn't really expect I would actually get, and probably didn't even deserve. Perhaps it's best to say that 2006 forced me out of my comfort zone, primarily because of NS. That's not to say it made me a better person (because you know what I think about the military and its effect on personal character). All I can say is bring it on, 2007...
