Have begun reading Jude The Obscure, because I was bored. Yeah, not exactly the best motivation for reading a serious novel. I'm actually also reading The Mayor Of Casterbridge, which doesn't say a lot for my attention span. Whatever. I feel the need to buy something, but I don't have enough money and I'm supposed to go to VivoCity with Eugene next Tuesday when we will blow our money on discounted clothes, so no shopping till then. Had dinner at the hawker centre near my place, so you can imagine what my mood is like right now. I just don't like hawker centres! I can't help it. Okay, I admit I liked the cereal prawns. (I've quite a thing for prawns recently, ever since that night at the restaurant on the way back from Kota Tinggi.) Other than that, I just hate hawker centres. There you have it, repetition for emphasis. Now, I'm watching some CNN documentary entitled After Jesus: The First Christians. It's a bit irritating because they keep having the news channel equivalent of commercial breaks. What do you call those anyway?
