Had dinner at Terra Café in VivoCity, as my dad insisted on travelling all the way down. (On the way back, we got stuck in a jam on the CTE because of this huge accident involving more than half a dozen cars.) Have arranged to have coffee with Eugene tomorrow somewhere around Esplanade, so we can sit around and bitch. The alternatives were spending money on clothes at VivoCity (postponed to 2007) and sitting in the park like hobos (unrealistic because both fundamentally incapable of looking like hobos). Now we just have to arrange the time. With a view to saving money, I proposed to meet after lunch and to leave before dinner. The lunch part will definitely work out; the dinner part is likely to be a bigger problem. We should just go to the library and be geeks. Haha...
