Apparently, it's been raining continuously in Singapore too, so much so that some areas have been flooded. We had a good dinner at this restaurant that's badly in need of more advanced sanitation. Maybe I'm just a spoilt urban kid, but I don't get how our neighbours to the north can live with it. Come to think of it, even the resort was kind of spartan in terms of amenities. Maybe the waterfall's supposed to make up for all shortcomings? We went into the water yesterday during our free time before dinner and it was awfully cold. Just a bunch of us "older" people, sitting in companionable silence, or as close as one can get to silence under the circumstances. I've actually used far less clothes than expected, although some of them have got wet because of the rain. Anyway, I'm flying off to Hong Kong today (it's past midnight), so this is me saying ciao for now.
