The celebration jointly organised with the RC was kind of boring. I did notice that the MP who came down was rather nattily dressed. In fact, I wouldn't have minded wearing the exact outfit that he had, especially his jeans. Very casual attire, but totally cool. Stamp of approval! Though if it was an attempt to connect with the younger crowd, it sort of missed its target, since the crowd was either too young to vote or not the right age to appreciate the MP's sense of style. Bought two Chris Tomlin CDs today, so I'm almost as broke as I was before my pay came. That's quite sad, and I think austerity measure will have to be taken shortly. Sigh. I need to win the lottery pronto! Spent the afternoon walking around CityLink and Suntec with Hui Juan and Sarah, seeing a lot of stuff that I would like to buy but can't because of financial constraints. When I start earning money, my expenses are going to be so scary...
