So playing the piano for Kenneth wasn't as bad as I'd expected, in the sense that I didn't mess up as much as I'd thought I would. That said, it's very difficult to play for someone who has no sense of timing. You can't follow his singing and he can't follow your playing. It was pretty obvious during I Don't Know About Tomorrow. Oh well, nobody's perfect! I don't think I want to play piano again anytime soon, although it was kind of fun doing something new. I lack the ability to improvise on the spur of the moment, though I can occasionally sustain a short sequence of countermelody. Audrey's birthday today, so my mum bought this cake that was recommended in the newspapers a while back. She felt cheated though, since the cake wasn't anything like she'd expected. Supposed to be a strawberry cake, but there were so few strawberry bits in the cake! Not worth the money...
