International Hug Day/Santa's List Day/Cookie Day/Wear Brown Shoes Day
2006-12-04 @ 8:52 p.m.

Finished three slim volumes of poetry I borrowed on Thursday - Reshma Aquil's Sleeping Wind (forgettable), Kate Clanchy's Samarkand (good), Emily Brontė's Poems Of Solitude (ordinary). I just need to finish that Auden anthology, which I've borrowed again. Now I'm recording all those Enigma songs I mentioned a couple of entries ago. I just found out that Mythos released a new album, Purity. Don't think it's going to be easy to find in Singapore, like most of the stuff that I like to listen to and would love to own. I live in the wrong place to possess such musical tastes! I'm going to download the podcasts from Lush 99.5 later this week. How am I going to while away the time during my Sunday guard duty? At least the guard commander's from my unit, and he's always coming to our store to borrow our switch rack for his lessons, so he should be quite slack. Eng Fa said Sunday guard duty's not too bad, just very tiring, and things get really busy at night when the trainees start booking in, as well as in the morning before the RPs take over. I'm thinking of taking Thursday off...
