Leftovers Day/Electric Guitar Day/Pie In The Face Day/Freckle Pride Day
2006-11-27 @ 10:18 p.m.

Have started reading Pamuk's Istanbul, which is surprisingly readable for a work of non-fiction. Still, isn't it kind of creepy how much of The Black Book seems to come directly from his life as narrated in Istanbul? I mean, the whole living in the same building where you grew up, that's kind of weird. Psychological analysis, anyone? Didn't do anything today though I was supposed to be conducting OM course, as the warrant officer decided to take all the trainees for TSD. Lucky me, I guess. The guard duty situation doesn't look too good. Plenty of Saturdays and Sundays for my unit to cover in December, and one of them is New Year's Eve! Praying that I don't get that one because I really want to go Bangkok with my cell...
