Damn. I haven't even been alone for 24 hours and I'm already bored. Freedom is overrated. You miss it when it's gone, but you don't care much for it when it's around. Feel free to disagree violently, because I couldn't care less. Am playing a CD in the hall using some new speakers my dad bought. They're going into my room as soon as I clear my table, which makes absolutely no sense because they're going onto a shelf above the table. Am I missing something here? I'm just going to lug them into my room anyway. Then I'll close the windows, turn on the air-conditioning, blast some music and sing along. This is all after I fix myself lunch, which is instant noodles again, since I'm too lazy to bake chicken nuggets because it means washing the tray. Anyway, I used to do that a lot when I was studying, especially when I was doing homework. Singing, not baking. It doesn't seem to have affected the quality of my work, despite what you might think. Speaking of singing, I happened to catch a few minutes of the latest season of Project Superstar last night, while I was flicking through the channels in search of mindless entertainment. The duo who happened to be performing at that moment cannot sing! It was that Averil and some other girl. Averil happens to be the one who declared that she doesn't mind being eliminated because she never imagined making it this far anyway. I couldn't agree more. Okay, maybe it was just a bad night for her, but I swear she went flat a few times and there was totally no chemistry between her and her partner. This was despite the two of them repeatedly looking at each other in an attempt to emote. I didn't stay on the channel long enough to hear the judges' comments. Haha... |
