Bought one book from Borders, Earlier, Eleanor Wong's second collection of plays. Wanted to get it when I first saw it at BooksActually, but it was a little too pricey then. Armed with a 25% discount voucher, it's a totally different story. Nonetheless, I'm now sort of broke. Frugality beckons. The Settler's Café outing was a great success! So much so that I'm allowing myself to entertain thoughts of going back again next Friday when I'm on leave. Of course, that's subject to people being available. I know Ben Woon will be, but pretty much everyone else isn't, I think. A pity, since we had loads of fun, especially with Settlers Of Catan, which we learnt from scratch. Maybe next time we'll play Zombies? The staff there are really friendly and helpful, plus it's really cheap, at least in my conception of relative value. I paid less than $20 to spend three hours gaming, and that includes the cost of my dinner too. Quite worth it, wouldn't you say so?
