I ate bak kut teh for the first time today. It was okay, but I don't get why people here are crazy about it. Another of those Singaporean culinary delights that prove absolutely inscrutable to my tongue! Attempted to go out for a movie with Ben Woon, but even the prospect of seeing The Covenant wasn't enough to get both our lazy arses out of our respective houses. Am seriously considering taking MC on Monday because I really don't want to be around when they're returning the tentages, especially when we're going to be short-handed. Well, there are three new guys coming in on Monday, but you know as well as I do what new guys are like. Absolutely clueless. Plus we don't know how good they are at being free labour, which is a very important trait in our store.
