There are some days when eugenics seems like a wonderful idea. I'm tired of being surrounded by banality, inanity, stupidity. It's days like this one that bring out the cruel, vicious streak in me. I'm not being prejudiced, but I really think sarcasm would be lost on my trainees. Vulgarity, on the other hand, would probably be understood perfectly. Am I out of my element, or am I out of my element? One more year to go, and not a lot of sanity left to make it through. Have to wake up early to take IPPT again tomorrow, which I'm probably going to fail. Maybe it's psychological? I think I'll fail because I've always failed, so subconsciously I actually want to fail again because I don't believe I can pass. How screwed up that would be if it were actually true. Planning to watch Little Shop Of Horrors. Do you have any idea how difficult it is to get six NS guys in one place at the same time, especially when they're all in different units? Next time, we plan ahead, okay? Well, considering that we're trying to get tickets for the November 11 evening performance, we're actually planning quite far ahead already, for our standards anyway. Usually I buy tickets less than a week before the day of the performance! Another thing we're doing different this time is getting the cheapest tickets, since as Ka Tsai helpfully pointed out, he receives the least money among all of us. Haha! Not that it matters, I guess, as I think Victoria Theatre's a terrible venue. You know what would be the worst thing that could happen? A school performance going on at the same time in Victoria Concert Hall. The swarming mass of humanity would be positively ghastly. Randomly, I will brush up on my French soon. Je suis si travailleur!
