In love with my new CD player! Would have gone crazy and bought loads of CDs today, but there's another of those 20% discount promotions happening at Kinokuniya on Saturday and Sunday, which I've been waiting for. I'm probably going to buy the original Dune series, all six books. If I'm not too lazy, I'll even walk over to Borders and see if Barnes's Cross Channel and Something To Declare are still on that bottom shelf where I placed them back, since Kinokuniya doesn't stock the Vintage International edition that I want. I could get Only Revolutions too, but I don't know if I want to spend the money because I really feel that Danielewski's new novel's trying too hard to be clever and it isn't worth the money. It's more expensive just because it's a hardcover anyway, not like House Of Leaves, which was paperback and oh-so-brilliant! I hate going back to camp, especially when there's stupid things like parades early in the morning. I was just thinking to myself in the taxi this morning (I was running late), just a couple of months more, and I'll be in my second year of NS and counting down to the day I ORD. I suppose it's been better so far than I'd ever expected, but it still sucks, okay? I wish people would stop asking me about how/what I'm doing. It just reminds me of all the other people and things that aren't a part of NS.
