Electricity Day/Rose Festival (Texas)/Change Your Life Day/Look Back On Your Life Day
2006-10-19 @ 9:57 p.m.

I think my boss has a split personality. I hope he decides to turn his vicious demeanour on the regulars more frequently, since he's been quite hard on them so far, although he is unpleasant to us too. Kay Hwee's specialising in TCS, so he was asking me today about any operator platoons that might be posting out at the same time as him. I told him they were crap, which prompted a laugh and a reminder to teach them well. Hey, I can't help it if they can't learn! There's a chance that we might not have to go to Australia after all, but I'm not getting my hopes up yet. Dan's just asked a bunch of us if we want to check out VivoCity this Saturday, but I already said I would go for the vocal workshop, which I've already avoided for a fortnight, if I remember correctly anyway. If whoever's going stays all the way until the afternoon, then I can hang out with them. I'd prefer that to attending the vocal workshop anytime, but I can't go back on my word. Sigh...
