Ridiculous! I didn't drive today because at the last minute, they couldn't find someone to be my vehicle commander. The next slot they can give us is this Friday, but there's a lesson then that I have to take because I'm so good at what I do. Haha! Just kidding. At this rate, we'll never be able to clock enough mileage. Yet another example of the lack of internal coordination in this place, which is probably indicative of the organisation at large. Anyway, am pissed at Audrey because last night, she plucked out some cable from the radio in my room, and now the speakers won't work no matter what way I plug the cable back in. (It has three terminating connectors that could go into five places, so you can imagine that I ran out of patience quite quickly.) Then when I was trying to test if the speakers were working, my MP3 player got fried. Will probably have to reformat the whole thing to get it working again. I just feel like buying a new one, especially since this Zen Touch is very clunky and uncool. (The new me is a lot more concerned about that sort of thing nowadays.) A Zen Vision: W is my ideal, and it only costs slightly less than either my dream camera or handphone, all of which I'm going to buy when I start working in 2008 for half a year, although by then something better is bound to have come out and I'll get that instead. I think the two CD players that I plugged in also got fried, so now they won't play CDs properly. You can imagine how devastated I am. Well, at least there's still the computer and my books. Is this my payback for trying to be nice to people? It kind of sucks...
