Laundry Day/International Talk Like A Pirate Day
2006-09-19 @ 10:34 p.m.

I think I'm putting on weight. Argh. Today was another day spent in peace, which was actually a little surprising. I was a lot more relaxed today, possibly even complacent, if no less bored. Really, all we're doing is waiting for him to leave for Taiwan. Then there'll be about three weeks in which we can get our act together, assuming he makes it back alive. Haha! Started reading Book 1 of the Wheel of Time series, because I need something long and convoluted that will last me till I ORD. (Or at least the end of the year!) I only have the first four books though. There is a sale at Kinokuniya this Friday and Saturday, but only at the Bugis branch, which is kind of far for me. I'm busy this weekend anyway, so I guess I'll have to wait for a Christmas sale or something. Crossing fingers for a peaceful week...
