Football Day/Father's Day (Australia)/Working Mother's Day
2006-09-03 @ 11:17 p.m.

Praise God for a good worship today! This was one of those days when I didn't wind up with a sore throat after the service. We had dinner at Peach Garden in Thomson Plaza, where the dishes weren't anything to scream about, but I did come across this really interesting dessert. It's black glutinous rice, served with vanilla ice-cream in a young coconut. Yummy stuff, although it's ultimately one of those things that have their flavour enhanced by virtue of their novelty factor. In terms of reading, I'm not moving very quickly with My Name Is Red. Not that it's a bad book; it's actually very nice. I can't seem to concentrate and read through more than a few chapters at one sitting. Guess I'm just too tired these days...
