Eat Outside Day
2006-08-31 @ 11:14 p.m.

Today was my day off, so I stayed at home and watched recorded movies until it was time to go for the lay reader's course, which I haven't been to in a month. I watched The Chronicles Of Riddick, In Good Company, and about half of As Good As It Gets. The first two are movies that I wanted to see when they were screened in cinemas, but in hindsight, I'm glad I didn't spend the money. (This seems to be happening a lot these days.) No point me telling you about the movies, since you can easily surf around for that information yourself. Suffice to say that I felt like my time was wasted on those movies. As Good As It Gets is funny, but I haven't watched all of it yet, so I'll reserve my comments till then. The session in church today was interesting, so at least it wasn't a chore to sit through the two hours. Not exactly relishing the prospect of guard duty tomorrow...
