Hug Your Sweetheart Day/Ride The Wind Day
2006-08-23 @ 9:58 p.m.

Was originally going to stay in today, but then I decided that no matter how early I have to wake up tomorrow and how much I have to pay for the taxi fare, it's worth it just to be able to sleep in my own bed in air-conditioned comfort. I'm a spoilt kid and I cannot lie about it. Today's IMT was over before I'd even got used to handling the rifle again. My lane had a screwed up rifle that required me to cock my weapon after every shot. Not surprisingly, I had to do a reshoot. The sergeant who also had to a reshoot is an excellent example of the kind of person whom I cannot imagine I'm supposed to respect. No further elaboration will be given, simply because you had to see him to understand why I'm expressing such sentiments. Going to go to bed right after I book my cab for tomorrow. ATP should be fairly interesting, if only because it's not everyday you see so many specialists, warrant officers and officers around you and don't feel completely overawed and like you have to keep greeting everyone every few seconds. Haha...
