Went to see the MO today because I was running a temperature. Was initially kind of reluctant to do so, which come to think of it, was really dumb of me, since the Attend C status I got allowed me to escape today's SI cohesion event. I hate these attempts to forge bonds across the ranks. Why pretend that we can be comfortable in each other's society for those few hours when normally I wouldn't dare fraternise with the likes of you? Just leave me alone. Or if you really must get to know me, do it after I ORD and in a civilian setting. That's when I could really feel comfortable and cohesive. The new CSOs have arrived, and they behave just like we did when we first came back to SI. It's just as well that they don't get too comfortable here, since things look set to change once our new team IC arrives. For now though, I'm just enjoying my long weekend. Did I mention I'm skipping today's session of the lay reader's course? That'll make four continuous absences, since I've got ATP next Thursday. Haha! I keep telling my mum that God must really want me not to attend the course. Dad's birthday clashes with the second last session and Yi-Xun's flight with the last, though since I probably won't send him off attending that session won't be a problem.
