Monkey Day/Sunflower Festival (Michigan)

Had dinner at Blu Jaz Cafe with Hui Juan, Myrtle, Sarah and Yan Leen. I was incredibly late though, and everyone was apparently just waiting for me so that they could get dinner. Blu Jaz Cafe has nice decor, and the live band was not bad, though I'm not so sure if the food's absolutely worth its price. Lots of ridiculous pictures taken! Then John showed up just after we started playing bridge. I won all but two of the games! Then we moved on to Swissôtel The Stamford because Hui Juan kept insisting that they ought to try smuggling me into New Asia Bar, which has an age limit of 23 for guys. Do I look 23 in any way? We ended up at Introbar instead, since Equinox itself was too crowded. Cocktails and more silly photographs and I love rum! Got home past 3 am, so this is really a backdated entry, as I'm sure you've so cleverly divined by now. Had tonnes of fun, but the consequent lack of sleep was a bit of a problem...
