Ice Cream Cone Day/Talk To A Telemarketer Day

We were giving out flyers today after YE, and we were supposed to make it back in time for main service, but we got hungry and decided to take a quick bite at Dawson Place. We ended up at JayZee Café, and because our food took some time to arrive (and we'd already started out late to give out the flyers anyway), we only made it back in time for Holy Communion. Not exactly sorry about missing the worship, but I heard the sermon was good, which equals to provocative in my reckoning. It's liberating not having to book in on a Sunday night. You actually feel like a normal person who just happens to have a job in an unpleasant military organisation until 2007. Went out for dinner at Plaza Singapura with Gerald, Hai Dang (our friend from Vietnam), Hui Juan, Sarah, Shirley and Yan Leen. The girls wanted to shop and they certainly did! Didn't see anything which I both liked and could afford, so shopping for a more fitting wardrobe will have to wait till Saturday, between Music Network and Cabaret.
