Ice Cream Sundae Day/Be A Kid Day/Milk Chocolate With Almonds Day/Don't Put All Your Eggs In One Omelette Day/Lotus Festival (California)
2006-07-08 @ 11:55 p.m.

In the end, my Saturday turned out to consist of lunch at Café le Caire (though I only arrived during dessert), wandering along Arab Street and bumming in Parco Bugis Junction with Mel, Thong and Tsz San. I think Swarovski crystals are pretty! We encountered this stall selling Japanese ice-cream in the shopping centre. The green tea flavour must be very popular, since we kept seeing people walking around holding cones of an usually deep green ice-cream. Why would anyone want to eat wasabi ice-cream though? Thong couldn't resist trying both. I bought one album each by Craig David and Maksim, as well as a Royston Tan DVD, even though my DVD player isn't connected to the television set at the moment. Altogether a fun weekend, I guess, since it's the company that mattered!
