Rock 'N' Roll Day/Sugar Cookie Day/Barn Day/Martyrdom Of The Báb
2006-07-09 @ 10:06 p.m.

Didn't manage to update my blog to make it current. The reason for that is because I was helping my dad with his Powerpoint slides. Again! Was reading Ishiguro's The Unconsoled earlier, and I think its unusual narrative progression is both its greatest strength and gravest flaw. I find it amusing that Anita Brookner called it "[a]lmost certainly a masterpiece". Go figure. Am also reading Calvino's The Literature Machine, a collection of thought-provoking essays that I'm enjoying very much. Was listening to Craig David's The Story Goes... in the car, and it's a poor album. Only a handful of songs stand out. The rest just blur together because they essentially sound the same. Maksim's Variations Part I & II pales in comparison to his debut, so I hope his latest, New World, is better.
