Went home and brought Kundera's first novel, The Joke, to camp. It's the last book of his I own that I haven't read yet. I'm just missing his latest three - Slowness, Identity and Ignorance. Will probably get them the next time I'm at Kinokuniya. Started and completed a poem this morning, and I think it's not too bad. Certainly a more lightweight effort than my two personal favourites, but firmly set within the same thematic and stylistic boundaries. I wish people would comment on my writing. I'm not sure people even read the stuff I write. That's a pretty depressing thought. Ah well. Incidentally, my driving's improving a lot, or so my instructor says anyway.
