Summer Solstice/Cuckoo Warning Day/Peaches And Cream Day/Turtle Days (Indiana)/Flower Festival (California)

Passing tests does have its perks. For example, you get to laze about, reading Kundera's Farewell Waltz, while other people have to plod through remedial training. Anyway, I don't quite like this book, compared to his others that I've read. It lacks elegance. My instructor's on leave tomorrow, so I'm hoping for a double dose of parking training. I'm perfectly willing to put up with the crazed ramblings of the parking instructor in exchange for half a day of slacking! I don't mind driving, but it's really boring by now. It's just as well we're moving on to the three-tonner soon. Was kind of surprised at how the last three days just flew by. The week's already half-gone and this Saturday's to be looked forward to, without a doubt. Am trying to arrange a visit to Settler's Café with the usual suspects. Only Eugene and Vaish said yes so far, so let's see how things turn out.

This week:

Summer
